Putting things in perspective
Today has been a monumental day for several reasons (in order of appearance):
1. Oliver ate 1/8 of a tomato
2. Oliver and I played our first game of trucks and diggers snap (this consisted of us very slowly turning over the cards; for Oliver to carefully peer at them; then announce loudly "is that one the same? noooo" or "is that one the same? yeah"; and then promptly put the cards somewhere other than the correct pile)
3. Oliver ate spaghetti bolognaise (because Pip was having some for his tea and he can't bear to be left out)
The fact that I am telling everyone about this breakthrough in eating and cognitive skills is in itself worrying.
