Oliver's first day at school

Our happy (ha ha) son went off to school today with his monkey lunchbox (filled with marmite sandwiches, kiwi, banana, cheese, yoghurt and a fruit bar), complete with shoes on the wrong feet.

He insisted upon carrying his lunchbox and school bag, despite not quite being able to manage carrying it.

He was very excited about going to school 'all on my own' but when the time came he got a little anxious. Suffice to say the last thing I heard walking out the door was him crying 'Mama, Mama'.

We'll see how it goes....
