Oliver's current obsessions
Again, in no particular order. Imagine that this is ongoing. All the time.
1. Time.
"What's the time Mama?" "Is it 1 o'clock?". It's always 1 o'clock in Oliver's world.
2. Distance.
"Are we far away from home Mama?" "Is Jules and Lucas's far away?". We are never near anything in Oliver's world.
3. Growing up.
"When I get bigger and bigger I will [insert as appropriate]". He really wants to touch the sky and be as big as Dada and Big G.
4. Perfectionism
He wants everything to be 'just so'. For example, he wanted a breadstick and I had the temerity to offer a breadstick with a chip off it. After we'd all recovered from the ensuing tantrum, he would only be consoled with a picture perfect breadstick. This also applies to his Weetabix, should you dare to mush them up or even put a spoon in them. I wonder where he got this obsessive complusive nature from?
