SNOW!
Heaviest snowfall since 1991. It rocks.
The boys, however, don't think so and we had to spend much of today persuading them that snow was really, really fun and not cold and wet at all. They didn't believe us funnily enough.
We spent the day with most of the kids from the road, building snowmen and playing snow cricket, which is as almost as pointless as the real thing.
Worse to come apparently and already the UK has ground to a halt (no trains, buses, planes and 1bn UKP lost in the chaos). No school tomorrow and Jeff is working from Nonna and Big G's front room. We're not entirely sure if the milkman will deliver our gallons of milk tomorrow morning and Waitrose didn't know how long it would stay open today. Hilarious, but all good honest fun.

The boys first thing this morning.... (picture Mama at the other window, having been up since dawn, mesmerised by the snow)

Our beautiful backyard
