Veggie patch: Day Two

Jeff and Vicky have been doing a lot of behind the scenes work in the greenhouse but, aside from potatoes, nothing had actually gone in the ground come last Sunday, so a planting day was desperately needed.

With two little helpers and an official photographer we set to task. Vicky on runner beans and more potatoes and Jeff on radishes (because we eat a lot of those) and peas. Pip dug and ate dirt, while Oliver obsessed about raking. They are big into their spoons (spades) and rakes.

It looks like a proper veggie patch now and we're off to plant carrots in pots this afternoon. It's all a bit 'The Good Life' isn't it?
