Last night

Pip went to sleep with the dress. Not in the dress. Mama managed to dodge a bullet there and persuaded him that he can sleep with and not in in the dress. You can either wear the dress in bed or wear the dress all day tomorrow Pip. The choice is yours. He made the sensible decision.

The dinosaur pjs he loved so much before (and tried to wear every night) were dumped unceremoniously out of the bed.

He woke up once during the night and immediately began rambling about wearing the dress. Mama managed to again persuade him that if he went back to sleep quickly the quicker the day would come and he could wear the dress. Are you seeing a pattern emerging yet?!

And guess what the first thing he said as he woke was? Yup. 'Can I put on my dress Mama?' Followed by 'I look pretty'.
