Oliver's 4th Birthday
When you're turning 4 there are a few things that are important.
Having pancakes for breakfast.
Having all your mates over for a party.
Opening your presents like a crazed man.
7am: Waking up to being 4. Just how excited could one little boy be?!!
9am: Obligatory birthday pancakes, followed by some present opening and a trip to the new park. It was Waverley council's birthday present to Ol. Very kind we thought.
3pm: Party time. 20 kids, 20 adults. Chaos.
Actually the kids were fantastic - they were so well behaved (or I didn't see the squabbles which suited me just fine!) and gave their all in the games. Oliver couldn't believe his luck with the cake Jeff had so painstakingly made came out and everyone went home stuffed full of sugar and hopefully tired out.
8pm: Bedtime. Exhausted and still wired. And will stay that way for several days to come.
Happy birthday gorgeous boy, you deserve all the happiness you have.
Oliver's favourite people:
Joe, Hal, Ava (and Kit), Emily, Hugo, Max, Charlie, Oliver, Bella, Bella, Lilia, Jules, Lucas, Luca, Mia, Jamie, Will, Scotty.

Mmmm, car shaped pancakes.

Pip's original way of eating pancakes.

Off to the park, complete with fairy wings for a faster trip.

The chaos begins:

Either 'Lightning McQueen says...' or 'Red light, green light', Mama can't remember. It was all a blur.

The trampoline part of the obstacle course. Team Mister-the-King vs Team Lightning McQueen

Pinata before 20 screaming kids pulled it apart.

Decorations... Mama loves the internet and the fact you can buy just about anything with it.

Tea. Take a closer look at the shoes.

Jeff's amazing Lightning McQueen cake.

Someone waiting for the cake.

D'you think he's happy?

I'm 4!!!!

Happy birthday lovely.

Jules doing his hand print for the memory tablecloth.

Just how cute is Kit?

Lovely Vicky.

Lovely Fie.
