Oliver's second day at school - comment and analysis
There was much avoidance of putting on socks and shoes this morning and asking if we were seeing Anne (like yesterday before school). I think it was Oliver's way of saying he was slightly apprehensive - understandably - about going to his second day at school.
But although he said he didn't want to school in the car, once there he was fine and put his coat against his name, took his name badge to put on the wall and his flower name badge on the washing line (?) and then wandered off to sit at the table to eat lunch. At this point, I made a swift exit, without saying goodbye but not wanting to upset the apple cart.
On Pip and my return, the sole comment from the teacher was 'much better today'. And I know no more about what he did for 3 hours. How weird.
