I think I've recovered. I think my adrenalin levels have gone back to normal. But I'm not sure.

Today was outstanding. From Jeff having booked his hour long AMG experience in a shit-hot Mercedes, it ended up being Mama, Big G and Toby all having a half hour special in various shit-hot Mercedes. Everyone went on the big track (with a straight that allowed you to floor 500 odd break horse power and V8 6.3 ltr engine and then try how the brakes worked), a little track (with lot of corners to chuck the car round and see how it stuck to the ground), the two emergency stop tracks (one dry, one wet) and then finally get to go on the skid track (mimicking black ice you got to turn off the ESP - Electronic Stability Programme - and drift round the track).

Fuck me, it was fantastic. I want to do this every weekend. I still can't believe the speed, acceleration and the fact that when you turned on the ESP the car would not spin, skid or do anything but go forward on effectively black ice. Amazing.

Oliver and Pip got to play with Rory the Racing Driver, see a history of the Mercedes car (whoo-hoo!), sit in dirt and get really, really dirty, and go up an incredibly large escalator and down a see-through lift. Oh and blast some water with the firemen.
