Christmas 2010
Christmas this year has been marked by one thing. The magic of Santa.
Mama's lost the battle to call him Father Christmas. She even tried F.C. in a desperate last ditch attempt not to sound so American, but finally admitted defeat, so Santa it is. But this in no way detracts from the fact that there has been a whole lot of Santa love in St Georges Road.
I don't think they quite got it last year but they've certainly got it this year. It's not even totally about the presents (although I'd be lying if I said that wasn't a big part) but they completely and utterly believe in the magic of it all. How does Santa go to all the children Mama? Is he coming tonight Dada? Why can't he come more than once a year? * Endless questions. I think Oliver nearly made the ladies in Elficks cry when he talked about who was coming down the chimney later that week.
The look on his face just melts your heart and you instantly remember what it was like when you believed. You believed so hard it hurt. Long may it live on.
*Mama: Because he is very tired after his big night on Christmas Eve Ol and it takes him all year to regroup and start wrapping again.
Ol: But what about the Elves Mama? Don't they help?
The most successful Christmas present ever. It has been played with every hour of the day since the 25th. Best £15 Mama & Dada ever spent!

Christmas Eve: will we EVER be able to get to sleep?
Sleeping bags presents. There has been no sleeping in them whatsoever, just hiding, playing and a whole lot of filling with everything aside from sleeping boys.
Oliver working out his Lego car from Auntie Nic.
I'm a knight!
Woof woof.
Letting off a party popper.
Pip not liking loud noises. He's his father's son.
Pudding!
