Pippilicious

We have discovered that Pip is quite hilarious.  He is getting better at gurning every day and the cast array of outfits that he is seen out and about in is becoming quite extraordinary.  And I mean that in the true sense of the word.

He is now refusing to wear trousers because they don't make him look beautiful. Cue, many, many comments about how lovely he looks in everything but his 'dressups'.  Mainly we leave the house in what should consistute as pink obsessed 4 year old girl's wardrobe; but because Pip being who Pip is, the outfit is complimented with the biggest, clunkieset boots he can find.  He likes to tell everyone they are his hobnailed boots.

His imaginative play is off the scale and he would happily play with Emily or Tabitha from school 'going on an adventure' for hours.  So long as there is costume changes invovled.  Last week, we were playing Princesses and I happened to have been assigned the role of the horse in this particular games (no comments please) and the game involved me having to knock on the door of the living room, listen out for the stately "come in" and then he would climb on my back to trot around the lounge.  But after a while he got tired, and said he was going to the cafe.  Up to the counter he went and ordered a double esspresso and some hay.

But he isn't adverse to careering down the hill on his scooter with very little self control (we call it the 'death wobble') and although terrified of balloons popping, seems happy to scoot down the bike ramps surrounded by all the 'bigger kids'.

He is a man of many contradictions.  But that's exactly as we like it.  Rock on Pip.
