Our weekend with Boris the class bear

Oliver is in Owl Class and they have a bear that the children get to take home and look after.  You know, like those babies they give to teenagers to try and stop them getting preggers.

I hope this is not St Andrew's intention. ;-)

Boris has the most amazing lifestyle.  It's the Surrey mummy syndrome - each one upping the anti.  We had been promised Boris the week before but the school boiler had broken, scuppering our chances of a week with the big guy.  So, instead of going Christmas tree hunting and marshalling the Farnham Runners Todays Runner Cross Country race, Boris went to see Oliver play football, watched the semi-final of Strictly Come Dancing, alongside a VERY excited Pip, and finally go on our annual pilgrimage to see the London Christmas lights (via Piccadilly Waterstone's for a good hour or so).

We weren't very good parents really.  Boris kept getting left behind and didn't have a change of clothes for about 4 days.  Needless to say, we would have failed our parenting test, but, damn, Boris had fun.
