1. Collect egg shells and an egg box.

2. Draw faces on eggs to show whose egg is whose.

3. Fill eggs with cotton wool. Moisten.

4. Sprinkle cress seeds on egg shells and put near sunlight.

5. Wait.

6. Be proud of your efforts!

Izzy/Lucy update

I went into talk to Mrs Head today. Oliver has been having massive tantrums about mostly nothing and I wanted to see how he was going at school. Apparently he's getting on just fine and settling in very well. Trouble sharing, but then he's 2. No news there.

There was news however about the object of Oliver's affection. I asked how he was making friends and Mrs Head said "he was very fond of Lucy".

So her name is Lucy -I'm confused by the Izzy red herring - and he follows her round like a lovesick puppy. Sadly she really doesn't know he exists. According to reliable sources, she has her eye on two boys, both of whom are going to Crondall primary with her in June.

Roll on June.... :-(
