Mr Men and Little Miss

Oliver and Pip have become very fond of the Mr Men series lately. So fond that the books go everywhere with us and have to be read over and over. They are looking distinctly worn and tatty - it doesn't help that Pip likes chewing on them though.

So it's obvious that when Oliver wakes up this morning he decides to give us all Mr Men names. So:

Dada: Mr Tickle
Mama: Miss Sunshine
Oliver: Mr Naughty
Pip: Mr Bump

He is unwaveringly accurate. Dada tickles everyone alot; Mama is a ray of sunshine (!); Oliver is trying desperately to be Mr Naughty; and Pip is always covered in bruises, mainly on the head, from various falls.

Ah, the wisdom of a 3 year old. It's good isn't it?

Things we have learnt to do in the snow

Over the past week or so we have learnt to do lots of new things. Mostly inside, but some outside.

1. Build proper snowmen
2. Amuse ourselves. By sitting in wicker boxes for example.
3. Watch icicles drip and grow.

4. Go toboganning (or bob-og-ga-ning).

5. Make endless castles out of the sofas. And play the harmonica.

6. See a movie in an empty theatre.

7. Get dressed to go outside in less than 30 minutes. Whoo-hoo.

8. Know all the words to "Madagascar" (to see video evidence click here)

9. Eat our way through a cold snap.

10. Spend lots of time with our lovely friends on the street. Thanks guys... xx

The End of the Icicles

But they are no more.  We heard an almighty crash yesterday night and looked down to find remarkably little debris on the ground.  Where did they go?  Are they set to return?  The story continues here....
