Christmas 2012

Opening presents from Santa on Christmas morning.

Pip had come into our bed at about 3.30am and desperate not to be woken at an entirely ludicrious hour Mama and Dada studiously ignored the interloper in our bed until he rolled over and went back to sleep. As is usual, Jeff ended up in Pip's bed as he tends to, um, spread out,  in ours and was woken up with a "yes, yes, yes, yesssss, yeeeesssss! It's Christmas" from an excited Oliver.   What it is to be 6 on Christmas morning...

We turn up to Ma and Pa's the find things running a little late after an emergency trip to Frimley with Nan, who'd had an allergic reaction to her antibiotics.  Still Brenda - the turkey obviously - was looking good and it only too a bit of work to get things back on schedule...

Looking less sure about offer to carry pudding now.

Really not very sure about this one.

Aren't we quite brilliant at this Christmas lark?!

Enough now.  No more photos.

Time for a game of Guess Who I Am?   The boys really got into the spirit of things and it seemed everyone picked almost topical personalities - except Dad who picked the Dalai Lama.  Heh heh.

The lovely Luce.

Jeff channelling Jess' six pack.

Pip's new best friend Hans(-Solo).

Merry Christmas everyone.  Roll on 2013.  Although Oliver did ask me with a very worried face today if we'd "ever see 2012 again?".  No honey, I said, we're onto next year now.

Lest we forget....

Since we've now moved up in the world - detached, bank/us owned, off street parking, large unruly garden - our good friends thought we needed to be reminded of our roots.

p.s. We did not nick it.  It was a present. Honest.
