Nonna's flying lesson

This beautiful Saturday morning, Nonna took up Auntie Hil's gift of a flying lesson at Bournemouth Airport.

The weather couldn't have been more perfect as the Jeffery and Drinkwater families looked on as Nonna and Hil took to the skies. They flew over the Sandbanks at Poole Harbour to catch a glimpse of the posh houses of Harry Redknapp etc and saw empty beaches nearby before heading down after 30 minutes in the air.

Go Nonna and Auntie Hil. Maverick and Goose would be proud of you...

Can you hear the theme tune too?

Me and my best friend.

It's exhausting work supporting your Nonna.

Making pasta

Since Oliver will now eat spaghetti and meatballs (because Francis does in one of his books) Mama decided it was time to get the boys involved in making some pasta. The result was surprisingly edible despite Mama having to reread her pasta making notes from way back when Dada sent her on an Italian food course in the hope of getting some decent dinners...
The pasta making was a huge success and we've realised it tastes just that little bit better when you've made it yourself.

Typical Pip has to do it 'au natural'
