How to make...

...a glitter picture

1. You will need PVA glue, cookie cutters, glitter and paper.

2. Fill container large enough to fit your cookie cutters and fill glue to 3mm depth.

3. Stick cutters in glue, then place on paper for 3-5 seconds until all glue has settled on page.

4. Madly sprinkle glitter on shapes.

5. Dispose of excess glitter.

6. Wait for shapes to dry.

7. Et voila. The finished product.

Check out Oliver's favourite outfit at the moment. His little kickers football kit and his Thomas the Tank Engine bicycle helmet.
I'd like to claim copyright on this great idea, but that would be very unfair to Amber at www.kidscraftweekly.com where we in fact stole the idea from. Go there and subscribe for ideas to keep critters happy and occupied....

Our littlest man....

Oliver's first photos

These photos were taken this afternoon, during tea, at Oliver's insistence, . He is always fascinated with the constant photos we are taking (trying desperately to capture the boys growing up too fast) and today took it a step further.

I suggested he might want to see what the preview screen was showing him, rather than concentrating on saying 'cheese' to Mama and Pip.

So we've got the focus-on-the-subject part of it covered.

Now have to work on the working-your-subjects...

And the finished product. Not bad, not bad at all. ;-)

Classic Oliver quotes

"I don't want smelly on my pasta"
when faced with tuna creamy sauce. It seems he doesn't like tuna.

Pip's dinner

Pip was so tired at dinner today, he didn't make it past the starter. Poor bugger.

Just do it...

Or in Pip's world, "Did it".

Bathtime fun *CAUTION: CONTAINS NUDITY*

Mama had left the room by this point. To change her wet clothes.

Pruning our apple trees.

Jeff was indulging in a bit of apple tree pruning this weekend. I think he finds it vaguely meditative. He assures me there's an art/skill to it, but I'm not entirely convinced it need take this long.

Check out this action shot!

I want to do what Dada does. "Clicking and clocking" apparently.

Who's this?
